These terms apply when you use Hetki, the planner at gethetki.com and in its phone apps.
What Hetki does
Hetki plans the tasks you give it into the free time on your calendar. Its plans are proposals: nothing changes until you accept it, and you decide what you work on. Hetki writes only to its own “Hetki” calendar in your account and never edits or deletes your other events.
Hetki is new. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, so keep anything that really matters, such as hard deadlines, somewhere you check as well.
Your account
- Hetki is for one person per account, aged 16 or over.
- Keep access to the email address or Google or Microsoft account you sign in with; it is how you get into Hetki.
- You can delete your account at any time in its settings, which deletes your data as the privacy policy describes.
Plans and billing
- The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page.
- The 14-day Plus trial needs no payment details. When it ends, you move to Free unless you choose a paid plan.
- Plus and Student are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance, and renew until you cancel. Prices include VAT.
- Student is for people in education and is unlocked by a school email address; we check it again each year.
- Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for all orders, which also handles customer service enquiries and returns about payments.
- You can cancel in one click in your account settings. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
- If we change a price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
Your data
Your tasks, plans and calendar data stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Hetki for you, as the privacy policy explains. You can download them at any time.
Using Hetki fairly
Do not use Hetki to break the law, to attack or overload it, to get at other people’s data, or to resell it. If you do, we may suspend or close your account; we will tell you why, unless the law stops us.
Liability
We are responsible for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, and for anything the law does not let us exclude. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
Changes and ending
If we change these terms, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies; if you do not agree, you can cancel and we refund any unused part of a paid period. If we ever close Hetki, we give you at least 60 days’ notice to export your data and refund any unused part of a paid period.
